Dr. Tazyeen Faisal is one of the UAE’s most sought-after medical specialists, with over 40 years of international training and experience in Gynaecology & Obstetrics. Having graduated from Sindh Medical College in Karachi (Pakistan) in 1983, Dr. Tazyeen went on to train at the world-renowned Queens Medical Centre at the University of Nottingham (UK), from where she obtained her MRCOG & FRCOG degrees.

Dr. Tazyeen extensive work experience, which spans across four decades, includes training and working at globally renowned medical centres across the UK and UAE. An advocate in her field for evidence-based medicine, she has played a pivotal role in the introduction and establishment of the practice within the Ministry of Health in the UAE. Her accomplishments include the development of comprehensive labour ward protocols which reduce foetal and maternal morbidity and mortality, initiating the use of spinal anaesthesia for caesarean sections and introducing specialised techniques for the management of pregnancies with HIV at Al Qassimi Hospital and Al Kuwait Hospital as well as the revision of non-pregnancy vaginal bleeding management protocol at University of Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Center.

A dedicated professional, Dr. Tazyeen is known for balancing outstanding surgical precision with holistic clinical evaluation techniques; an approach that has enabled her to establish and maintain a long-lasting reputation as one of the top medical specialists in the region. As part of her ongoing pursuit to incorporate internationally vetted medical breakthroughs within the care offered to her patients, Dr. Tazyeen has completed advanced training in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries from the UK.
